Leyland
A Class 40 drops off empty mineral wagons in the Leyland scrap sidings and will attach the loaded wagons to its train waiting in the station See image 21231. In the background an industrial shunter can be seen but for many years it did not move. The former goods yard closed in the l980s and is now covered by housing.
