Woodhill Road Halt was the first stop on the Holcombe Brook branch after leaving the East Lancashire line at Tottington Junction. Situated in a Bury suburb this view, back down the hill towards the main line, is undated but believed taken on the last day of passenger services after the dc electrics ceased and steam push pull trains had taken over for the last fifteen months of the branch passenger services.
