Sunnywood Halt
Fifteen months after closure and over two years after electric services ceased this message was still displayed on the shelter at Sunnywood Halt in July of 1953. The wooden halt had opened in 1905, in conjunction with a new steam railmotor service, and so its working life was only 47 years.
