New Hey
A Derby DMU calls at New Hey on the Oldham loop in this view towards next stop Milnrow in February 1972. At this time the station and line were under threat of complete closure but were later reprieved by Greater Manchester PTE to survive up to 2009. The station and line then closed and were reopened under the Metrolink tram system in 2013 See image 21080 for a 2008 comparison, just prior to main line closure.
