Preston
Looking South along Platform 7 of Preston station, with 390027 on a Euston sevice at 6. The south end of Platform 7 still curves to the East from the days when 6 and 7 served the East Lancs lines. These were the only platforms under the main station roof that handled these services. The three other East Lancs platforms were closed in 1972 and that area is now covered by a shopping centre see image 18734
