Askrigg
Lying just outside the village where the James Heriot TV series was filmed, Askrigg station in Wensleydale, like Aysgarth to its east, was closed in 1954 but is now used as business premises. If the Wensleydale line is reopened to Hawes or Garsdale this will be a superb line to travel on.
