Brig
The station at Brig comprises a main area shared by the standard gauge BLS and SBB (see Michael Gibb images 17502 & 17503) plus two platforms located alongside the street used by the metre gauge Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (formed by the merger of the Brig, Visp & Zermatt and Furka Oberalp Railways). This August 1998 view of the MG platforms was taken from a reversing train and looks towards the main station entrance in pre-merger days.
