King Edward Bridge East Junction
View west towards King Edward Bridge East Junction from Gateshead MPD on a summer evening in 1982 with the Gateshead breakdown crane standing on the ash heaps at the west end of the depot. The line to the right at the junction runs onto the bridge, part of which can be seen between the breakdown train and the class 31. The line to the left joins the ECML from Newcastle Central shortly after it leaves the bridge.
