Heysham Power Station
Flasks arrive at the Heysham Power Stations on 16th January 2007, having been hauled down the line from Morecambe by DRS 20304. Heysham 1 is the building on the right of the picture, with Heysham 2 on the left, the latter accessed by a short branch worked by a Sentinel diesel shunter. The recently approved life extension of Heysham 2 to 2030 will keep the rail connections in use until at least that date.
