Kilmaurs
The dynamic loop from Lugton to the north will stop short of Kilmaurs, which is just as well as clearly no thought was given to a possible future redoubling when the station was reopened a generation ago. Some expensive and disruptive work would be needed here! 156 514 is seen at the station on 26 February with a Kilmarnock service.
