Taynuilt

A lamp with the remains of an old waterslide transfer still attached, identifying its origins as Ach...., photographed at Taynuilt in October 1998. It was presumably salvaged from the former Ach-na-Cloich. (Once the next station westbound - closed in November 1965.) Note that, unlike the C & O station name, the spelling of the name of the local village on the south shore of Loch Etive is Achnacloich.
