The Langholm/Newcastleton pickup freight crossing the border approaching Kershopefoot on its way back to Kingmoor at Easter time in 1967. Note the border sign on the embabkment just below the locomotive. The working was from Kingmoor to Langholm, then on to Newcastleton via Riddings Junction, with the final leg back to Kingmoor. During the course of this trip the train crossed the border no less than 8 (eight) times. See image 23012.
