A few inner Glasgow stations had these mini-Solaris. By comparison with their replacements they were a bit limited: no train times or clock and lack of space meant that they often displayed things like all stations via... or all stations except... which, if you were not familiar with the line, meant you had to consult a timetable anyway. Nevertheless, while waiting for a train, they were more entertaining to watch than the modern equivalent. The photograph shows the westbound Solari at Hyndland in April 1998.
