Heversham
Heversham was a halt on the partly single line link from Hincaster Junction to Arnside and closed in 1942, although trains passed through for a further 21 years. The simple low platform was sited on the right of this picture near the point where the A6 crosses the trackbed on a bridge. Map Reference SD 498827
