Strand Road Exchange Sidings
Having run round its train at the exchange sidings the Ribble Steam locomotive propels its three coaches to the limit of RSR metals by the Strand Road level crossing. At this point the bitumen trains continue across the road and climb to Preston station. This view looks in the opposite direction from See image 21459 and 21460, which show a tanker train emerging from the gate.
