Carlisle
The buffers at the south end of platforms 7 & 8 at Carlisle on 9 May 2009. The sign behind the left set instructs staff not to stable rolling stock hard against the hydraulic buffers. I hope no one even tries to make contact with the buffers with the Sprinter DMUs that frequent platform 7 let alone stable up against them!
