Looking east toward Bangour Jct in October 2007. The Bangour railway left the E&B near where the rooftops are visible centre left. A temporary loop has been installed to allow ballast trains past the newly slewed up/down single line. Just beyond where the on-track plant is located was the end of a siding known as Dechmont - worked by up trains only.
