Saintes
Biodiesel Bubble Cars. Traditional SNCF DMUs are now gradually being replaced by new units, three of which are seen here from the station platforms outside Saintes depot and workshops. I was grateful to the local enthusiast who pointed out the special instructions on the side of these particular cars specifying only biodiesel to be used in the fuel tanks.
