Falkland Junction
A rain soaked Falkland Junction on Saturday 18 July 2009, as the 0823 ex-Glasgow Central Golflink special passes on its way to Girvan. The trains link up with a shuttle bus service running between Girvan station and the 138th Open at Turnberry. The specials are being operated using class 156 DMUs, temporarily redeployed from the Edinburgh - Shotts - Glasgow route, where 158s are standing in.
