Sparse service. Extract from the 1964 London Midland timetable showing services on the short Barnoldswick branch apparently being run down as a prelude to full closure. One train out, which presumably had worked down the branch ECS, one train back later that morning on Saturdays, which would leave ECS, and a return evening working Mondays to Fridays. This sad state of affairs continued for another year before the line closed in September 1965.
