Attlebridge
After closure to passengers in 1959, the attractive M&GN station at Attlebridge remained largely intact until after the disused track was lifted in 1976. Thereafter, the building was converted for use as a private residence and extensively modernised. This photograph shows the old station in April 1978 shortly before the rebuilding work got under way. Unfortunately, very little of the building's original character was retained. See image 34119
