Farington Curve Junction
Direct Rail Services Class 37 No. 37194, on a test run, rejoins the East Lancashire line at Farington Curve Junction while on a test run from the West Coast Railway depot at Carnforth where it had recently been overhauled. The loco had reversed in Preston and provided an unusual sight as DRS locomotives are rarely seen on the Preston to Blackburn line.
