16 brand new Bombardier trams have been ordered for Blackpool and a new depot is to be built at Starr Gate to maintain them - although it looks like a sitting tenant will have to be evicted first. Rebuilt double-decker 724 is waiting to form a service to Fleetwood and will negotiate the tight turning circle before heading north again.Shortly after this photo was taken this section of line was closed to allow relaying and the construction of the new depot See image 31269.
