Ingleby Incline Head

By 1968 the winding house at the top of the Ingleby Incline (65 chains at 1 in 5 and 1 in 6) on the Rosedale railway had gone. The line closed in 1928 and the final locomotive lowered down the incline in 1929. The line served ironstone mines.
