Scarborough Bridge

The 1047 Scarborough - Liverpool Lime Street about to complete the crossing of the River Ouse and run into York station on 12 October 2009. The large serpent that appears to have emerged from the river and is attempting to ensnare the train is in fact part of the current repair work that has resulted in temporary closure of the footway running along the east side of the bridge.
