Heriot
An EE type 4 with a freight, (carrying members of Edinburgh University Railway Society) at Heriot station in December 1968. What appears to be a white circle on the front of the locomotive is in fact a bung, inserted into the hole which had been bored to accommodate a cable for communication with the loco crew on the occasion of a previous Royal Train assignment.
