Platform 5 at Aberdeen on 12 October 1998 and the driver of 158703 is in his cab to take the train south, though the LCD destination blind is yet to be changed from Aberdeen. Although well into privatisation both this set and the sleeper stock next to it are still in BR era livery. The InterCity brand, though defunct here, was picked up by other countries, including, untranslated, Germany.
