Ex-Caledonian Railway tank No. 55224 takes water at Connel Ferry in September 1960, while Presflo wagons of alumina stand in the background waiting to be hauled to Ballachulish for the Kinlochleven aluminium smelter. The alumina traffic switched to Fort William in 1965, and - although the Kinlochleven smelter has closed - alumina still moves by rail on the West Highland Line.
