Welsh's Bridge Junction

A typical winter 1967-68 Inverness scene taken from Auldcastle (as in 'Macbeth') Road. The area of empty ground to the left of the arriving train, which had been occupied by the steam roundhouse until 1960-61, was subsequently developed as an extension to the cattle auction mart, and is now home to the dubious visual delights of a Morrison's supermarket.
