Wakefield Kirkgate
37716 <I>British Steel Corby</I> leads 37711 & 37719 onto the Pontefract line at Wakefield Kirkgate station on 28 December 1986. The locomotives, all sporting BR Metals Sector livery, are heading back to Knottingley depot after refuelling at Healey Mills. Addendum : The lead loco' 37716 is still extant 37 years later, although it was placed into store just before Xmas 2023, by current operator DRS, after being involved in the recently ended York based RHTT operations.
