An Aberdeen-bound DMU approaches Raigmore level crossing in Inverness in 1976. The route leading up to the Highland Main Line on the right was known as the 'Burma Road' due to its wartime military use, and enabled freights from the Aberdeen direction to run directly into Millburn Yard - a move no longer possible.
