A South West Trains liveried 158 heads south across the Forth at Stirling on 15 April 2008 on a route familiarisation trip from Alloa prior to the official reopening of the line. The train is on the easterly (NB) of the two parallel viaducts that cross the Forth here, the nearest (Caley) carrying the main line south from Bridge of Allan. Part of the great loop in the river, spanned by the viaducts at this point, can also be seen running across the top of the photograph, just beyond the perimeter of Stirling County rugby club.
