Exhibition Centre

Although there had been a Finnieston station on a different line, the more recent Finnieston was new when the Argyle line opened in 1979. It did however overlap the site of Stobcross station which had closed when the old Glasgow Central low level line closed in 1964.  The new Finnieston was renamed Exhibition Centre after the opening of the venue in 1985.  On 20 January 2010, unit 318 250 pulls in heading West and will shortly start climbing the 1979 innovation to Finnieston East Junction where it will join the North Clyde Lines.
