Loudounhill

Looking East towards Loudoun Hill and the site of the viaduct that once crossed the valley off picture to the right. There are still sleeper indents on this section of the old trackbed, which is amazing considering that the track here was lifted around 60 years ago. The bridge piers in the right background are all that's left of the bridge over a minor road, all steelwork was removed for scrap a long time ago.
