Carnoustie
In their last months of service 117s were used to form specials from
Edinburgh for the Open Golf at Carnoustie in 1999. Here on 17
July an ECS set returns to the main line from the siding where it
allowed a train to pass. It then changed ends, moved to the up line and returned in the direction of Dundee.
