Chapel-en-le-Frith Central
Looking north through the site of Chapel-en-le-Frith (Midland) station on 21 March 2010. The platforms have gone but the main station building on the up side remains and is now in use as Chapel DIY. On the down side a coal yard now goes right up to the trackside. The post with a camera to the left of the down line is presumably for the signaller at Chinley Junction to confirm that there is a tail-light on the rear vehicle for any train heading east and not passing the signalbox.
