Newtonmore
A pair of Derby Type 2s in original BR livery heading south from Newtonmore with the 3.40 pm train ex-Inverness on 6th August 1961. [Note that the tablet-catcher is lowered ready for tablet exchange at the next crossing loop, which I guess at that date would be Etteridge (loop taken out 1963) - one of two between Newtonmore and Dalwhinnie, the other one being Inchlea (removed 1966). -AJCT]
