An EE Type 1 with a Bedlay Colliery - Ravenscraig coal train, thought to have been photographed in the late 1970s. The train is running south from Glenboig Level Crossing towards Garnqueen South Junction. The view is from the Caledonian Railway's Hayhill Branch (Gartcosh Junction to Garnqueen North Junction).
