A southbound train on the ECML runs through the site of (33 years later) the modern day Musselburgh station in the summer of 1955 behind Gateshead A1 Pacific no 60132 Marmion. The photograph was taken from the north side of the bridge carrying Whitehill Farm Road. See image 8476
