Symington [2nd]

View south from the down platform at Symington in April 1959, with BR Light Pacific 72005 Clan MacGregor about to run through the station at the head of a down express. The train is passing the goods yard at the south end of the station with the former Caledonian Railway Peebles branch turning east on the other side (by this time having been cut back to Broughton). The road entrance on the right leads to a junction with the A702.
