Auschwitz
The infamous rail link running into the former Nazi extermination camp at Auschwitz II - Birkenau, Poland, seen in June 2010. After the Second World War Poland established a museum on the site of Auschwitz I and II. The museum is visited annually by three quarters of a million people.
