Platform 3 at Dunblane has acquired a number sign since my visit last year, but it's academic to the travelling public as it has no departures as there's no crossover to the southbound track. It is though in frequent used for any of the three terminating trains an hour needing to clear the main lines. 158 870 has done just that on 15 June 2010, letting a Glasgow to Inverness service call. It is now running to the crossover at the north end where it will reverse and cross to the Up Main platform 1 to return to Edinburgh.
