Britannia Crossing Halt
GWR 2-8-0T 5239 approaches the site of Britannia Crossing Halt, primarily intended for access to the Royal Naval College across the River Dart. It continued in occasional use after the line was preserved in 1973 but closed in 1988. The slipway for the busy Higher Ferry can also be seen as can the start of the climb to Churston beyond the level crossing.
