Morningside [CR]
Not far from Morningside (behind the camera) looking to Stirling Road on a December evening in 1987. The Coltness Iron Company (later Costain) line ran from the distant centre to the right. The distant bing belonged to the Gillhead Colliery. The line seen here was later re-opened and this view can be compared with the scene 23 years later see image 29593.
