A southbound passenger train headed by a Black 5 on the Settle & Carlisle line around 1964/65, possibly the 4.37pm Carlisle - Bradford stopping service. The train is just over 3 miles north of Armathwaite having just passed below the bridge carrying the Wetherall - Armathwaite road. It will shortly pass the site of the former Cotehill station (closed 1952).
