Part of an old map published around 1960 showing the area of Paisley in the vicinity of the original Hawkhead station, located on the east side of Hawkhead Road. The Paisley & Barrhead route is also seen crossing the 'main line' and passing the 'squinty house' on the north side of Seedhill Road see image 30084. Also of note is the old wartime depot to the east of Hawkhead Station with a kickback set of sidings and a headshunt (now occupied by housing).
