Carstairs
With its sparse service Carstairs does well to retain a ticket
office, albeit with less character than the one it had last century see image 25230 for the view thirteen years earlier. It is surely Scotland's least used ticket office, though Carstairs' comparative
isolation must mean that average takings per ticket are fairly high.
