Morecambe Euston Road
Almost forty years after Morecambe Euston Road goods station closed, in 1972, the goods shed is still an integral part of the Travis Perkins builders merchant's site in the town centre. The loading bay awnings have been renovated and the whole building is in excellent condition. The passenger station itself closed in 1962 and residential flats cover that part of the site. Trains to Morecambe still run alongside the boundary fence of the old goods yard See image 26601.
