Bogside
<I>Scottish Rambler no 5</I> during a photostop at Bogside Race Course in April 1966 on the leg from Ardrossan to Girvan behind B1 61342. Opened in 1840 as plain Bogside the suffix Race Course was carried between 1952 and 1965. The station closed, having reverted to its original name of Bogside in 1965, on 2 January 1967.
