Wemyss Castle
The former Wemyss Castle station is almost entirely hemmed in by
subsequent building, and this partial view of the frontage is all that's possible in August 2010. Although called Wemyss Castle it was right in the middle of East Wemyss and the only station in the village; the castle is a mile and a half away and just outside West Wemyss. There was a West Wemyss station on the same line, but it was no nearer West Wemyss village and you had to go through the larger Coaltown of Wemyss to get there...
